26 and Kicking

Sad day bloggers... I will be 30 in four years...oh how the mighty have fallen. Jk. I know most of you are older and went to college without FB, Cellphones, and you thought black pants and an oversized white blouse were dressing up to go out, but I didn't. I mean, I had lots of cool shirts I wore from Wet Seal, the Buckle, and lots of liquid eyeliner with glitter, don't be jealous. And now that is all so far away...and getting farther..

This is what 26 looks like...Rock it Out!

I wished for Peace on Earth and Good Will Towards Men like I do every year... jk.. let's be serious... We all know I wished I would be a size 6 again.. (only one stomach flu away...okay maybe 3, but still...)

To celebrate my first true grown up birthday I did nothing. Ray and I had a long (1:30-4:30) leisurely lunch that included cheese curds, wings, and beer...I know very grown up. Ray and I figured we usually each sit at our respective homes all day and talk to each other on the phone and complain about being broke and needing jobs, so why not do it in a restaurant? So today we decided to live out our dream of planning our day around lunch.. It was awesome! I came home, watched my DVR'ed Oprah, took a cat nap, and went out to eat again with Matt. I want to brag about my day for all of you with jobs and children. I know you want to scratch out my eyes for my decadent day, But Damn it.. A girl is only 26 once! This was all followed by some cake from one of my favorite places here in Saint Paul called Cafe Latte. They make this awesome Chocolate Turtle Cake with Pecans, Caramel, fudge...it is SO good.

We Get Cake!!

Well here is a video of what it is like to celebrate a Birthday in the Kajewski House. It might be a little disturbing, and please do not judge the fact that I am eating the frosting off the candles... I heart food..It is basically the reason I get up in the morning.. Well that and the fact my DVR will only record two shows at once, so I have to watch either Regis and Kelly, The Bonnie Hunt Show, or Ellen and record the other two..that's a big decision.. Oh and you will notice I am a little paranoid about my shirt and that is because I started to realize Matt was recording and I was not wearing a certain undergarment and I was worried some things might show.. Now that I am writing about this I probably shouldn't post it.. because that sounded dirty and it really isn't.. well you guys can judge.. I will take it down in a day, but I thought it was a good representation of what it is like when you are
26 and 30, married, and have no children. We basically have to find ways to entertain ourselves, and singing Happy Birthday like we are Mariah is one of them..

I seriously want a bite of that right now.

Happy birthday, Mo. Don't worry about getting to 30 just yet. Look at it as you are still in your twenties.

You should post more video clips. Fun-ny!

Happy Birthday, MO!

Oh my GOD! You guys are seriously the cutest couple EVER. I want to come live with you... and NOT just because you have cake at your house now.

Oh. And I laughed out loud at the black pants reference. Hilarious.

Just for the record-it was black pants and a stretchy, colored express tshirt!

I just found a picture of Meghann, Billi and I in our "black pants" outfits...I must add that I coordinated with black shoes and bright white socks. That's hot. Happy Birthday Mo, you and Matt are a great couple!
