Trick or Treat and on to KC

It's been awhile bloggers, I know I have no excuse. I don't have a full-time job (or any job), I don't have kids, and I have wireless internet, please don't hate me. Well Nothing incredibly exciting here in the Kajewski Hamster Cage... A couple weeks ago we went out for Halloween with our TC friends.

Well you know how Halloween is like New Years, where unless you have something planned you just want to boycott. That is how it started for us, but then we ended up getting invited to a pretty decent party. Lucky for us we know some people who know rich kids... And you know what rich kids in their 20's do on useless holidays? Rent out an Art Gallery in Minneapolis, Bring in A bar, DJ, and throw a sweet party... Thank you Rich Kids!! So we had a good time.. I went as a Ref and Matt went as Jackie Moon from Semi-Pro (a Will Ferrell character)

Matt as Jackie Moon and with an incredibly full head of hair....weird..

See Matt picks his costume and sometimes I coordinate and sometimes I don't. The last few years he has been on a Will Ferrell Movie Character Kick so we have gone that way. As usual there were plenty of scantily clad ladies around. As Matt said, I was wearing the mom version of my costume; A ref costume with a short skirt with leggings, shorts, and a long sleeved t-shirt underneath. Lucky for us Matt pointed out the girl wearing my "Racy Ref" costume the way it was suppose to be worn...and lets just say she did not have on leggings, shorts, or a long sleeved t-shirt on underneath..

Ash and Adam went as "Nerds", Matt and I went to pick them up and noticed their name tags (Matt and Maureen Kajewski), touche my friends...well played...

Most of the Crew...

Kicking Danny out for being a Wiener..

Needless to say it was a very successful Halloween that was followed the next day with naps and eating lots of candy!

Last weekend I went down to KC for my friend Anna's Bridal Shower. It has been over three years since I have been in KC and we had a blast. Friday night we went to a little dive bar by Anna's and danced the night away to a band. We were a little out of place when we realized that everyone there was divorced with children our age. The women were the best. They all had bleached hair/frosted tips and wore mom jeans and those stupid multi-colored shirts that say, Paris, Greece, or Rome on them that department stores try to pass them off as the fun "Party" shirt in the mom area of younkers....oh mom jeans and multi colored France shirts..they are the worst.

Bri, Anna, Liz, and I at the Dive Bar

UNI girls at Anna's Shower..

Saturday we had Anna's shower and then headed to the new Power and Light District in KC. That was very cool. Sunday was a long drive and I only made it back to Holstein, I was not about to drive 7 hours, thank god for being unemployed!

Other than that, things have been calm. Matt and I are still working on our game plan on when and where we are going to move to, but I will let you know when we decide. This Wednesday is my 26th birthday. gross..I am officially closer to 30 than 20..WHAT THE WHAT!! (quoting Liz Lemon) When Meghann was 26, I was 21 and all, god my sister is wicked old and lame.. I mean I was right about her, but I know that I am still cool and I know no one would call me lame..lets be serious.. For the Big Birthday we are heading to IC to watch the Hawks end the season with a victory! Hope all my fellow bloggers are doing well!

So you are having a little fun after coming off of your wedding high. Your costume still rocked- leggings and all.

You were in my necka-the-woods. What was the name of the dive bar? I've been to my share here!

Mo & Matt the costumes rocked! I've heard of the KC Power and Light District and sounds like a fun place! We are taking the fam to the Plaza in KC Dec. 13th to see the lights and go for a carraige ride...we haven't done it for a couple of years! Good luck with the decision of where to move...we need some more lawyers in MO...we just don't have enough asses! :)

Ok...I can't read your blog or you have to stop being so funny...I'm not healed yet & it hurts! That may be more info than you need, but seriously, your blog & new episodes of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia are crossed off my list of things I can handle doing at the moment. Ha!

Mo, I looked closer. The "Jerry Fish" is in the background. AND I really know my KC bars.
But you want DIVE? Ask your friend if she has ever been to the Red Balloon. They actually have Lunchables on the 'menu' and accept cash only.
