We have decorated our tree and wrapped some of our gifts to the fam. Matt and I love decorating the tree. We bought a smaller 6 foot tree a couple years ago and we decorate every year with the same ribbon, lights, and Christmas balls. It is a good enough tree to tie us over for a couple of years. I would love to have all Waterford Ornaments, but that is probably never going to happen because we are not the Rockefeller's. Here are some pics and video of of our decorating...
Our Tree
Matt and the Tree
Tree Decorating Kajewski Style
Last Saturday we headed to Amana to have an extended Christmas Celebration with the Waters family (Matt's Mom's side). It was fun as usual. We went to the Amana Christmas Prelude and looked at all the trees and saw Santa. Plus everyone brings some goodies and then we do a small gift exchange. Well I brought photo albums and a Columbia pocket knife/ multi-tool thing, a guy and a girl gift. In my head I thought any lady would like the albums and any guy would like the pocket tool/knife thing. Well Abrym (Matt's 4 year old Nephew), picked out the gift for his mom. Well of course he picked the pocket tool thing and he was in love! We couldn't get it away from him. He even had to have it hooked to his pants, which we told him he could do as long as he didn't open it....
Abrym and his pocket knife... obviously I am not ready for children..
So apparently I am not ready for parenting. I am guessing 4 year old's should probably not have pocket tool/knife things.. But hey I am learning. It's not like I wrapped it up and said, "Oh look Abrym, we thought you needed a pocket knife!" Live and learn I guess. (and for you mother hen's like Meghann out there, we did NOT let abrym have it or carry it around all night...you can close your mouth now meghann)

Some of the Extended Waters Clan
All in all it was a great weekend. I will continue on the job hunt, Matt will continue working (he better anyway), and we will keep all of you updated! In the mean time we will not give our nephews knives, but their parents are probably not going to be to happy that we may or may not have bought them all hulk hands for Christmas... (for you family members out there don't spoil it please!) Because when Matt and I thought of how we could celebrate the birth of Christ, we knew there could be nothing more fun than watching our nephews duke it out with huge hulk hands that make sweet noises!! Now that is Christmas!!

Merry Christmas!!

We FINALLY heard from you!!! I know, I can't say anything because my last blog was Halloween! The tree looks fabulous! Can't wait to see you at Christmas!
Wrap the air conditioner as a present. That is what we did in the love shack.
I think Dirk and I need to register for Hulk Hands.
Just when I was about to take you up on your offer and ship my kids to you for a while- I had put them by the mailbox with stamps on thier forheads and everything. And then I see that you buy children knives. Maybe next year.
