All About Riley

Well Bloggers I am less than a week away from being a married woman, and I am starting to get excited. We have a lot of the decorating done thanks to Connie Butcher and Mom, and we really only have the stuff left that we can't do till the last minute. I am starting to get restless with my time at home. I really need to get OUT OF HERE!! I mean my fam is awesome, but seriously I haven't lived with these people since I left for college in August of 2002. I know the feeling is mutual... So to fill up my time here I attended the infamous Galva-Holstein Homecoming Festivities for the first time since I graduated from high school 7 years ago. The Thursday night coronation tradition was in full swing. The downside was that the gym was not packed to the rafters like it used to be, and the classes have gotten so small. There was 7 senior boys, seriously 7? 4 of them are needed for royalty. That was just weird, I at least graduated with 25 boys in my class.

The highlight though, was Riley. Not to be a braggart, but he was pretty funny. As a long standing GH tradition of boys playing the role of girls in the class skits, Riley was suppose to be Dena the school secretary. In my day the guys would go all out dressing like girls, in Riley case he thought a wig and glasses would suffice, but it was still funny. Needless to say, Riley was the funniest person there all night. He was knocking them dead! He made fun of people tastefully (I have no idea where he got that!!??) and had the entire crowd rolling with laughter. The highlight was the "Dance Off" part of their skit. I guess it is a new Cosgrove tradition to be a mad dancer to Beyonce's Single Ladies, and Riley Rocked it. So I have said I am learning this dance for my wedding and I have less then a week for Beyonce and Riley to teach it to me.. Lets see if I can do it...


As you can hear I was dying laughing and trying to hold it in, I didn't get the whole dance cause I couldn't get my camera switched over fast enough, but you get the gist!

So a week Bloggers, in one week I will be Maureen Catherine Cosgrove Kajewski. That is some screwed up shiz... But man, we all I know I am going to look smoking while I am doing it. Officially Signing off, MoCos!
