Honkey Mooners

I know everyone is dying to know how the honkey mooners are doing (as my dad calls us). Well we are tired, tired, tired! Yesterday we did a little picking up, opened our sweet gifts and then went to Cherokee and ate Mexican and relaxed. Today was pick-up and organize day, and it was exhausting! I was out for the count Sunday, but today I am feeling better. For those of you who could attend our party you know that I was fighting a cold, story of my life! Well I just wanted to post a few pics. It was a fabulous day and I will post later and give my spin on it, but I thought it would be funny to show how Matt and I spent our first non-wedding night as a married couple. See in my liberal, progressive, no holds bar family you are not allowed to sleep in the same bed until you are married, or live with your significant other. I get the rule, totally get it, and kind of agree (kinda).

This usually means that I slept in the Attic on the Couch so I could watch TV, and Matt slept in the room known as Grandma's Hideaway in my parents home because it is the coldest. Well last night kids, we took the house over! There is only one other full size bed in this house besides my parents and that is Riley's. And Well Riley's Room smells like there is a dead animal in there. (Teenage Boys, GROSS!) So we pushed the twin beds together in Clare's room to mark the significant change in sleeping arrangements at the Cosgrove Home. What a honeymoon!!

Our Marital Bed... Clare and I's old twin beds pushed together..can you beat that!

Your little sister's bedroom, that's were all newly married couples want to reside. Matt is heading back to Saint Paul tomorrow, also a honeymooners destination of choice. I will go tomorrow or Wednesday as I have a lot of things to get together. And then I am totally going to take one day this week and do nothing while Matt goes to work, just so I can rub it in. I am a homemaker now until I get a big girl job. And I am a homemaker to a 750 sq. foot apartment with no children. So it is basically my heaven. I will blog later with more pics and details on the wedding, but below are a few of my favorites from the pictures my mom took. I am so excited to see what our Fabulously talented Ms. Libba did, but I kind of like the wait, it will be so worth it!

Annoying My Mother by not Posing seriously with my Bouquet. It was so beautiful though! Also please excuse my overwhelming show of "the girls". But you only get married once or twice, and the girls were a little out of control..well okay a lot.. But I totally wanted to look Like Joan on MadMen.

Heath and I would do the same thing with Quinn and my twin beds when we would come to my parents house! Looks like you are taking to married life quite well and I'm sure Matt will be expecting a homemade cooked meal when he comes home from a hard day of work! :)

You looked awesome Mo!! We had a great time. Midway through the ceremony, Travis leaned over and said "you don't think that we have to participate in a hot alley at this wedding do you?" :)

I knew there was going to be a good pose or a dance or something I was going to miss! If so, I need footage. After the Blogger Jumping Photo, I was shot (yeah it was only 8pM, whatever) & I'm sure I missed a lot...but the wedding was gorgeous & reception was amazing! Plus, you & Matt looked absolutely stunning...as you already know ;)

Everything looks SO BEAUTIFUL - most importantly you and those lovely ladies you have! I was so upset about missing this very special day, thank you for understanding! Just know that you were in our thoughts and prayers all day! Also, the honeymoon suite is CLASSIC and I am so jealous that is what you have to remember and I get a crappy hotel room with a view of the Charleston harbor!!! Yours is so much better (no joke!)
