Lawyer From Hell

I did it Bloggers, I passed the Bar Exam!! Today was a crazy day..Results were not suppose to come out until tomorrow. Well I got back from working out today and there was an email that results would be released today at 2:30.. when I found this out it was 1:00 PM. Of course like a rational person I immediately burst into tears, started hyperventilating, and was looking for the nearest liquor cabinet. Needless to say I was freaked out. I had to call Dad and Meghann because I was not looking, nor was I going to explain to my mother where to look, and either one of them had to do it. At about 2:10 I was walking around the house, music blaring, having a drink trying to calm down and Dad called and said, "Maureen Catherine Cosgrove of Hamline University is a lawyer." I of course thought he was lying, cause I wouldn't put it past him. But sure enough that is exactly what the Board of Bar Examiners News Release said. I did it, I passed and it is all over! HELLS YEAH!!!

It was the most horrible, unbearable, miserable, mind F'ing experience. It was complete and utter torture... I would ask that when your child tells you that they want to go to law school, I want you to say, "Are you kidding me child, do you have Sh*t for brains! Law School is way too much work for way too little reward. Be a Dentist, work 4 days a week and earn 150K, don't be a lawyer, those bastards are stressed out alcoholics.. and 9 times out of 10, you are probably right..!"

In honor of my big passage we had some family friends over and celebrated with some Chinese food. It was awesome. I also felt that I was entitled to wear a pin that my Aunt Martha gave me during my studying. It is a pin of my Late Uncle Luke's, and if you knew Luke it is totally him.. It states "LAWYER FROM HELL." And today my fellow bloggers I earned it. As of the swearing in on September 25th I will officially be a lawyer from hell.

Lawyer From Hell.. Nuff Said

I am thinking I am going to celebrate by meeting some friends in Ames for the Iowa vs. ISU football game..We will see. But I know for sure that I am going to sleep in, workout, eat a good lunch and play it from there. So I did it Bloggers. I can now be a bride and not worry about taking that damn test again...From here on out all I have to take is pregnancy tests... And Those are also either pass or fail so I think I can handle it. Later Bloggers... Mo Mo needs to sleep...
