I Bellied Up to the Bar

It is over. I did it. It sucked. It was horrible. The worst experience of my life. Depressing. Impossible. But it is over! That is how I can sum up the last two months of my life. Especially the last month where you study 16 hours a day, freak out the rest and don't sleep. But I went into that damn test and gave it my all. Few Observations....The kid next to me was a freak. The first day (essay day) he was done a little early, not crazy show-off early, just a little early. The second day we have 200 multiple choice questions 3 hours in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. So I worked up to the last second, as did most people. This jerkwad was done an hour early in the morning and an hour and a half early in the afternoon. Seriously? Nerd McNerdson, how the hell did you do 200 multiple choice questions in half the time..While I sit there and have to re-read the majority of them to figure out what the hell they are asking!! Story of my life I got seated next to "2nd in my class from Iowa."

So I have tried to return to normalcy, or better than normalcy. Straight Nothingness! Which I think I finally got a hold of this weekend. The last three years has been a whirlwind of class, work, studying, finals. My life was scheduled around Law School, which is 100 times more intrusive than undergrad. Undergrad was a 4 year social outing, while law school is the precursor to Dante's Inferno. At first it was hard to adjust to doing nothing. Nothing. And This weekend I mastered it. I came back to Saint Paul and Matt and I spent the weekend going out to eat, going to movies, and being lazy. I napped today and it was awesome. We also made a trip to Minehaha Falls. It was nice to just be and do nothing.

Me at the Falls!

Matt pointing at the falls, weird..

Matt found the ice cream truck..score!

So now I am going to spend my time anyway I want. I finally get to be a Bride! I have to be Jane Fonda (goes along with the bride shiz), apply for jobs, hang out, and do whatever I feel like. This post does not put the whole law school/lawyer thing in a good light, and I don't care. I am taking a break from that for a few weeks. I will attempt to resume it in a fresh light, but right now I am going to do my own thing!

Yahoo for you! I am glad you got out and did some things for yourself (with Matt, too). Hope the wedding plans are going well. How long do you have to wait to find out the test results??

I'm glad you made it through Mo! As painful as it was, you made it through. Enjoy your "me" time, you deserve it.

I was thinking about you and saying prayers - like you would need them! I am glad it is over and I hope you get to do nothing for quite a while!

I am so glad you are taking a much-deserved break and you are looking AMAZING, by the way! They're going to have to take your wedding dress in! I can't wait to see you over Labor Day!
