Bachelorette Party

This weekend was the big Bachelorette Party. As usual I lost my voice, feel like a truck ran me over, and ate everything I wanted this last weekend. It was awesome. All of my girlfriends were able to make it except for one, I guess I am one lucky girl to have so many wonderful friends! Friday we had a beautiful hot day, so I boated with a few of my friends who came up early. Saturday was the party day and wouldn't you know it, it rained all day. But we made the best of it and partied like rockstars.

Because our plan was to boat all day Saturday and it rained all day we had to make alternative plans. We did gifts and sat on the deck and played a couple of games. Saturday night we loaded up and headed to the Walker Valley Watering Hole. This local attraction is known as "C'J's or Country Jim's." Now imagine a place that operates as a bar, restaurant, gas station, campground, and bait shop which is covered with stuffed dead animals. As you walk in the door a giant stuffed bear greets you..I know what you are thinking, "I want to go to there!" (quote stolen from liz lemon) Oh the joys of partying in a red state. We took that place by storm, and we were thoroughly welcomed by the locals. I don't think that place has seen so many beautiful women at once before! (I am bragging, we were hot!) We were able to dance outside until it got rainy (for the 6th time that day) and then we headed in side to the bar/restaurant/convenience store to dance in the area between the convenience store part ends and where the restaurant begins. The majority of the fun was watching all of my friends just laughing hysterically at where we were and what we were doing.

All in all it was a blast and we ended up with a lot of unpostable pictures. Including many with a Bachelorette party regular who has been passed around from party to party. His name is Peter and he is always such a good sport. (funny blow up doll). I got many awesome gifts but my gf Darci had the funniest gift of the weekend. It was a $20 grab bag from an adult store in KC and that $20 bag was full of the most inappropriate and funny things to make us laugh for hours. Mom and Sean were the adult supervision so don't worry we all behaved...


The Gift Bag that Kept on Giving!!

It was a fabulous party even though it rained and thanks to everyone for coming! This week is my organization week. I have kind of spent the last two weeks just chillin' and being lazy and now mom and I have to finish this wedding stuff. 4 weeks until bar results and so now my anxiety that was gone for two weeks is starting to come to the surface. I just want the results but at the same time living in la la land not knowing allows me to pretend it was all a bad dream.. oh well.. Like I said, I guess I gotta grow up! what a bummer.
