Well last week was one big week. Monday I forced Matt to Kathy Griffin, he loved it..I caught him laughing.She was fabulous by the way. I used to not like her, but then I watched her show and loved it!! Thursday Mom, Meghann, and Miss Lillian came up to the Cities to see the Queen Ms. Tina Turner. Matt was kind enough to watch Ms. Lilly..
Matt was a great babysitter for Lilly... They got to watch the Dodgers..
Tina was awesome. It was totally worth it. One complaint... If you are going to a concert where the crowd is mostly over 50 pay for the good seats so you can dance. I wanted to stand and dance the whole time. All the Lamersons behind us sat and gave us bad looks. The ladies right behind us even left. Well Debbie and Meghann experienced this at Cher in Omaha a couple of years ago and got kicked out (Yes Meghann got kicked out of Cher with her parents..ask them about it sometime) So we had to dance in our seats. I stood for all of the best one's though..

Deborah was like a kid in a candy store, or maybe more appropriately a menopausal woman in a sauna...jk mom I love you so!!..Anyway..Debbie busted a move in her seat...Of course I took pictures. Mom kept shouting, "This is great, Oh the Best night ever!!" Notice Meghann's face in the pictures.. We all know you can't stop a dancing Debbie...

Saturday I took Mom, Meg, and Lilly to Stillwater, MN which is a quaint river town that has lots of fun shops. It was even on the Today show as one of the best places to see in the fall. We ate lots of food and come Sunday we were all tired and stuffed..All and all a great weekend..

And lastly..It would not be a post without some politics. I filled out my Absentee ballot the other day. It was very exciting. This is only my second presidential election that I have been able to vote in, and I REALLY want to be on the winning team..like really badly.. I am sure this is no surprise but I proudly voted for Senator Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Three weeks left..I am ready for it to be over, but I am a nervous wreck. Matt is the optimist I am more of Irish in my thinking..I am a firm believer in Murphy's Law..What ever can go wrong will go wrong.. Anyone remember the 2000 election? Well everyone do your civic duty and vote!! YES WE CAN!!!

First of all, I can not beileve Mat babysat lillian. Second of all, I am never going to a concert with Mom unless im wasted because she is so embarrsing...Please put mom in dance class and dont let her drink.

Deb rocking out to Tina is the best! This doesn't surprise me, my mom would do the same thing. Deb's the only mom that didn't think my mom was a nut in 5th grade when a bunch of moms were taking us to summer camp and before we got to camp we ate at McDonalds. My mom got so mad at the guy behind the counter at McDonalds for some reason I can't remember and made him give her her money back, I was horribly embarrased and I just remember Deb being like "what the hell, I would have done the same thing"? :) So I guarantee you with Deb dancing Lori would have been doing the same. You can't go to concerts with Meghann I guess, she must attract old bitty's there. Way to rock the vote as well Mo. Spread the word..vote, vote vote!
