Friday night we watched Dad and Jamie light off our fireworks. 4th of July is my second favorite holiday next to Bastille Day. We may have started a minor forest fire but we got it under control. We also had a modeling contest. Try next time with a group of people. All you need is a digital camera and say Prune to get the Movie Star pout look and Magic to get the big smile. I had read this lovely tip from the anorexic Olsen twins in some stupid celebrity magazine. We had a lot of fun making "Prune" and "Magic" faces. Tracy and Meghann had the best ones. Unfortunately my camera (well Matt's) is broken and is getting fixed, and mom somehow thought she uploaded her pictures, then deleted them all from her camera and low and behold they were NOT on her computer. GRRR... So we lost a lot of our pictures from this last week. I will post a few we did get... All and all it was a good weekend and it was great to have Tracy Visit..Hope everyone had a good 4th!!!

I am so happy my "Prune" pictures have vanished!! I looked like one those polagamist wives from Texas. It was perhaps one of the worst pictures I have ever taken!
Your cabin looks like so much fun! I want to come visit sometime but Travis won't come, he's scared he'll have to run through the "hot alley" again!!
Too funny! I would give a lot of money to see those pictures. Meghann, very funny! I wish, however, I could see your Texas polygamist wife look. I'm sure it was nothing like that. By the way, I ditto the "nice bangs" comment someone left earlier on someone's blog.(I can't keep track) I thought they looked really nice. Sounds like you guys had a great time on the 4th. Wish we could have been there with you. Maureen, I'm glad you read that little tip from the Olsen twins because it provided much reading amusement but I'm a little worried that you are reading periodicals that feature the Olsen twins! Keep posting. Stories are hilarious and pictures are great.
You really need to blog more often, because I could use the laughs.
