Ms. Spears and Jesus

Now that is a title for a post. Last weekend some friends of mine and I attended the Britney Spears concert. We figured we had to. It was good, a lot of fun, but I don't need to see her until she is on her third husband and starts adopting children from other countries. She only sang one song live, which was good. The Pussycat dolls were better. The best part of the night was the people watching. Girls are so stupid. There were so many poorly and under dressed females there. It was embarrassing. It was so bad, Britney was one of the least scantily clad ladies.

Ms. Spears on a pole..who would have guessed

The only song she sang "Live", and she looked like a cross between Mary Poppins and Jasmine from Aladdin..I didn't know that combination was possible..

This weekend Matt and I stayed home, as in Saint Paul. I have a busy next couple weeks. I am wrapping up classes, my job, and a trial for school. So I am pretty busy. We hung low this weekend. I went and got Matt's birthday gift on Friday and of course I broke down and had to give it to him yesterday. We have been watching the Masters the last couple of days and like clock work that induces Matt to set up miniature golf holes around the apartment. I got him a new golf bag. He has been carrying around a horrible skinny pink bag like a 12 year old girl, and he stole mine last year because he realized his was just horrible, which meant I had to use the worn down girly bag. So a new bag was a necessity. My parents got him some new golf shoes so he is set. He was thoroughly excited. All he kept saying last night is that he had the best day ever.

Matt looking longingly at Tiger with his new man bag and shoes..

This is how I found him on the couch...weirdo

Last night we went to Mass. We are church shoppers. We live by the cathedral, but they are little long winded. So we have ventured to the church a few blocks away and they are awesome. Regular Mass is never longer than 45 minutes. That is the way it should be. Last night we went to Vigil. Which usually means 2- 2 1/2 hours. Last night it was 1 1/2 with an orchestra and they only read 2 readings of the usual 8. It was awesome. We came home and feasted on crab legs and twice baked potatoes. So it has been a good weekend for us. Next weekend we have my last Barrister's Ball (law school prom), then I have my trial. I am just getting through..hope everyone had a good Easter!! Remember... "He is Riz, He is Riz, What a Wiz that Jesus is."

you and matt crack me up.....

the one thing that was consistent about taylor-tot's birthday weekend was both the masters and sportscenter talking about the masters.

Very funny! I do believe you two were made for each other! It is funny how people find one another! Happy Birthday Matt! I feel like I know you so well yet I have never met you. I guess that will happen at the wedding. Unless you want to come to New York, with Mo of course, and visit us this summer. Maureen, hang in there. It truly is almost over. Then your real life can begin!
